Gel Moisturizer Recipe

Do you enjoy using oil gel moisturizers but don’t care for all the unnatural ingredients with names you can’t pronounce? Today we’re going to make a simple 3 ingredient moisturizer. I like it because it helps my itchy dry skin and it’s not as messy as just using oil.

You Will Need:

  • A bottle with a pump
  • A funnel
  • Aloe
  • Glycerin
  • Apricot Oil (or your favorite oil)
  • Essential oils (optional). I like to use apricot oil, lavender, tea tree, and tangerine.

This is a simple moisturizer. You could go crazy and have fun with it adding lots of ingredients. Here are a few other suggestions. If you have oily skin, you can also add jojoba oil, witch hazel or alcohol. If you have mature skin, you can add rose water, hydrosol, or essential oil. The possibilities are endless.

Directions:

  • Drop in a few drops of essential oil to your bottle if you wish. (See picture below…
