Qualities of a Good Friend.

Megan is not my bestie that I see all the time and text every day. In fact, I only see her a dozen or so times a year and I don’t text her often. However, she is a wonderful, caring person that I consider a close friend. We met in a homeschool group and are both members of other local groups. She has many great qualities that make her a wonderful friend. She is supportive, unselfish, and good listener. She is someone you can count on to help whenever she can or pray for you when she can’t.

When I was a kid, people would say I had a ton of friends. And I guess it looked that way from the outside. In elementary school, they changed the borders for the schools and my best friend and I had to go to different schools. I had a difficult time in the new school and felt very alone at times. Middle school, I think, is hard for everyone but I felt like I was picked on a lot by boys; maybe others were too, I don’t know. High school was better.
